One of our clients are looking for a Senior Event Timer to join their expanding team.
About the role
Job Summary
They are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our northern team with a base in Stretford (Manchester). Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest professional standards for outdoor sound systems at various sporting events across the UK. You will be expected to understand the event setup, review and advise current planning, and document the best possible sound setup with their clients ahead of each event, and then deliver the setup on the race day on a weekly basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sound technician to gain experience in the events industry, or a known event operations person to gain experience with outdoor sound as a specialty. This role has unlimited growth potential, as you’ll be working not only in one of the fastest growing chip timing companies in the country with more than 600 deliveries each year, but you’ll be working in direct partnership with their biggest client that organiser 300+ events each year alone.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate PA equipment effectively at assigned events
- Ensure any issues on site are troubleshooted and resolved promptly for premium service
- Coordinate with event organisers and participants accordingly throughout each event to ensure a
seamless experience
- Complete the event set-up and clear down of all the RTS equipment in plenty of time to ensure the event schedule is not disrupted
- Support with any participant's inquiries raised on-site promptly and in alignment with the
company-trained expectations
- Report any issues or concerns with the RTS equipment to your Team Leader or the Operations Manager via the feedback system.
- Provide honest event feedback to support the company and individual development
- Achieve the expectation of delivering over 100 events per annum
- Coordinate with the allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager for the event assignments to be completed weekly, and attend all 1-2-1 meetings with the Team Leader or Operations Manager
- Complete the online training provided when onboarded with the company in the allocated time frame
- Achieve the monthly KPI set by my allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager, which will be subject to experience
Requirements for the Role
- Minimum of 1 years of chip timing experience.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection for remote work assignments
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must have a full standard manual UK driving license
