One of our clients are looking for a Senior Event Timer to join their expanding team.
About the role
Job Summary
They are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join their team as a Senior Event Timer. As a Senior Event Timer, you will be responsible for accurately timing various sporting events across the UK using their chip timing technology. This is a great opportunity for an experienced chip timer to join a leading timing company in the UK that operates to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate timing equipment effectively at assigned events
- Ensure accurate recording of participant data and timings is collected, then transferred onto their
operating system (Racetec)
- Coordinate with event organizers and participants accordingly throughout each event to ensure a
seamless experience
- Represent the companies core values and be professional when involved in any aspect of the
company's responsibilities
- Troubleshoot any technical or physical issues with timing equipment at the (training is provided on this and a fantastic support system)
- Complete the event set-up and clear down of all the RTS equipment in plenty of time to ensure the event schedule is not disrupted
- Support with any participant's inquiries raised on-site promptly and in alignment with the
company-trained expectations
- Report any issues or concerns with the RTS equipment to your Team Leader or the Operations Manager via the feedback system.
- Provide honest event feedback, to support the company and individual development
- Achieve expectation to time over 70 events per annum, of which all events assigned will be on the weekend (mainly a Sunday)
- Coordinate with the allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager for the event assignments to be completed weekly and attend all 1-2-1 meetings with the Team Leader or Operations Manager
- Complete the online training provided when onboarded with the company in the allocated time frame
- Achieve the monthly KPI set by my allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager, which will be
subject to experience
- Expected to time over 60% per annum of level 3 in difficulty as allocated by the Team Leader or Operations Manager
Requirements for the Role
- Minimum of 1 years of chip timing experience.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection for remote work assignments
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must have a full standard manual UK driving license
