Role:

One of our clients are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team.

They are looking for an experienced tech professional to help them develop their operational capabilities to take on and service their expanding client base and range of investments.

They want someone who will focus on building out and automating back office and operational processes. Your job will involve delivering multiple projects for the business — supporting the business as they continue to grow.

You will:

  • Help design and develop the internal systems and operational process they need for their next stage of growth; including their core record system, securities pricing and corporate events data, developing admin areas and associated operational workflows

  • Bridge the gap between the business and IT, defining future processes – automating wherever they can, to allow them to scale efficiently.

  • Work with the Operations team to clearly understand needs and requirements; liaise with internal stakeholders and development team to deliver the project scope.

  • Identify and build reusable solutions to enable analysis and product improvements

  • Use your skills and experience to find problems and opportunities across all elements of the business, help to size them and guide their product roadmap.

  • Be driven and determined to be part of a high-growth start-up team where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact.

What you will need:

  • Prior Experience in project managing internal system or platform development projects, preferably in asset management or financial services

  • Experience developing back office systems and automating operational processes.

  • The ability to restructure complex problems, making them more manageable, and to assist colleagues — with a service delivery attitude.

  • Awareness of the changing investment industry and the curiosity to find opportunities in technology, market developments, regulatory/legal changes.

  • At least 5 years of directly relevant experience. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Who they are looking for:

  • Someone who can fit into a diverse and growing team that shares the desire to succeed. You will be comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership/responsibility of problems and their solutions. They like transparency and communication, especially given that they're often working flexibly.

Our other benefits include:

  • Hybrid working

  • “Work from anywhere” scheme – work up to 3 months overseas per year

  • Support for developmental courses and qualifications
