Our client is looking for a Head of Marketing to join their team.

As Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for growing and nurturing their brand nationwide.

Brand consistency is critical to their company. You'll be familiar with all the usual channels in today's digital marketing landscape. Your focus will be on increasing network turnover through sales and marketing opportunities.

Beyond managing the marketing team and various platforms, you will also report on and provide feedback to franchise managers. You'll be spotting where sales and marketing performance can be improved and suggesting how that can be achieved.

This is a wide-ranging and rewarding role in which you must be able to confidently manage your own time and be able to work to strict deadlines. It's essential that you are confident in dealing with people face-to-face and that your confidence is rooted in genuine knowledge of the areas you are responsible for.


Role

• Oversight and management of day to day national marketing activities and franchise sales and marketing support ensuring growth/development of brand, network and sales.

• Managing national and local Google Adwords advertising campaigns including search, display and video campaigns. Making the most of new features and advertising methods.

• Working with the marketing team and senior management to collate and carry-out franchise marketing performance reviews.

• Management and development of marketing team.

• Providing sales and marketing training for new and existing franchisees and staff.

• Oversight of and updating website content.

• Oversight & development of national and local social media channels, growing the channels, spotting trends etc.

• Graphic design / branding work.

• Ensuring that franchise support requests are dealt with promptly.

• Ensuring network compliance with brand.

• Assisting with copywriting, design and other bespoke requests.

• Heading and presenting the sale and marketing review section of the annual conference speech and workshops


Requirements

Are you confident and experienced in using Adobe Photoshop to create original marketing materials?

Are you confident and experienced in using Google AdWords to create and manage search campaigns?

Are you confident and experienced in creating and managing social media marketing campaigns?

• You must be a confident person who is comfortable dealing with people both face to face and via zoom meetings. As part of this role you will be required to carry out in-person training sessions. You will also carry out in-person marketing reviews which requires the ability to assist people of all ages and types whilst providing honest feedback to them.

• Excellent telephone manner and customer experience skills.

• Experienced in using Adobe Photoshop and MS Office.

• Enjoy working as part of a team and also being able to work independently.

• Comfortable working with data and statistics in order to inform decision making.

• Familiar with marketing on main social media channels.


Desirable

• The marketing team at prides itself on being creative and innovative. Ideally, you will have an interest in marketing and the digital space which goes beyond “just a job”.

• Understanding of franchising

• Able to spot opportunities within the existing marketing and sales pipelines which can be improved to help increase network revenue.

• Experience using CRM systems.

• Experience with popular web platforms such as SquareSpace, Gmail, Amazon SES/AWS, WordPress.

• Experience in staff management

• Interest in cars / experience in the auto trade

• Some knowledge of marketing data law / GDPR
