Our client is looking for a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join their team.

Summary

As the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to attract new clients, increase brand awareness, and drive business growth. You will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, managing digital and traditional marketing channels, and building strong relationships with potential business partners. This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of creative thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute marketing strategies:

● Create and implement marketing plans to promote their business.

● Identify target market segments and develop tailored marketing campaigns to reach them effectively.

● Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.

2. Manage digital marketing channels:

● Oversee the company's digital presence, including website, social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising.

● Develop engaging and persuasive content for various digital platforms to drive customer engagement and lead generation.

● Optimise online marketing campaigns to maximise reach, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).


Skills & Experience

  • Have a good understanding of Instagram and Tik Tok and how the platforms work organically and how adverts can generate more engagement

  • Have experience of using Hubspot, social media programs or similar platforms

  • Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter similar role

  • Portfolio of published articles

  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English

  • An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces

  • Time-management skills

  • Familiarity with SEO

  • BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field


3. Build brand awareness:

● Develop and maintain a strong brand identity across all marketing materials and touchpoints.

● Implement branding guidelines consistently to ensure a cohesive and recognizable brand image.

● Identify and explore opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility.

4. Business development:

● Identify potential business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and collaborations that align with their brand values and goals.

● Foster relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential business partners.

● Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial partnerships to drive business growth.

5. Track and analyse marketing performance:

● Utilise analytics tools to track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

● Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports to evaluate marketing ROI and identify areas for improvement.

● Make data-driven recommendations to optimise marketing strategies and tactics.

Qualifications and Skills:

● Bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

● Proven experience in marketing and business development, within the fitness, wellness, or similar industry.

● Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing,

SEO, and SEM.

● Proficient in utilising analytics tools to measure and report on marketing performance.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.

● Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and partners.

● Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.

● Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
