One of our clients are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC, with a view to move to a permanent position.

This role works closely with the Director of Marketing to develop and continually evaluate the rolling marketing strategy for the UK and SWEu region, with a particular focus on campaign messaging and the production of digital / print campaign assets to facilitate the key team objection of lead generation. The role is also responsible for managing the marketing design team.


The role is varied and responds to the different commercial marketing requirements needed to meet objectives through:

Marketing strategy:

  • Working with the Director of Marketing to develop the rolling marketing strategy for the region, in which digital marketing forms a core component.

  • Always working three months ahead on campaign messaging and the production of digital and printed campaign assets for use across different channels, including social media.

  • Overall responsibility for the maintenance and development of the UK website and associated functionality, including regular review for regulatory compliance and to ensure the highest quality user experience.

  • Manage the CRM system (Marketo), including automated email campaigns.

  • Responsible for increasing the impact of the brand through close management of the ‘look and feel’ of campaigns.

  • Oversight of all social channels, defining the tone and approach and ensuring the consistency of message and brand representation.

  • Provide editorial direction and develop assets for contributors to use on social media accounts.

  • Monitor social media activity and online sentiment, ensuring an appropriate response and escalating potential problems when necessary.

Content Creation:

  • Edit and create central campaign assets for local markets across the region that ‘tell the story’, and drives lead generation and increases brand recognition, tailoring as appropriate to best meet local needs.

    • Regular liaison with the MM – Campuses that establishes strong feedback loops which ensures the regular capture of local campus content for editing and campaign creation, with the team being aware of what is happening on every campus.

Task Management and Reporting:

  • Weekly and monthly analysis and reporting of marketing activity against KPIs.

  • Task management of the central marketing design team.

Other:

  • Work cooperatively, collaboratively, and flexibly with the team, especially to support periods of absence, workload peaks and troughs as required and undertaking other duties and tasks as reasonably required.

Key Performance Indicators

Evidence of:

  • Exceeding lead generation targets at campus and regional level.

  • Production of video and photography campaign assets.

  • Quality of data / trend analysis and marketing metrics reporting.

  • Lead quality and engagement levels across all channels.

  • Harmonious and proactive relationship with all key stakeholders.

  • All tasks completed accurately and promptly, and in line with procedure and deadlines.

  • Maintenance of a safe, professional, clean, and productive working environment, with all health and safety activities completed diligently and in line with timescales.


Selection Criteria:

Essential:

  • Experience of devising and planning strategic integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.

  • Team management experience.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Solid CRM and marketing attribution experience.

  • Experience of managing social media channels in a professional setting and working within the parameters of a well-established corporate identity to deliver creative communications.

  • Experience of commissioning and project managing video productions and photography, including ideally involvement in storyboarding, interviewing, and editing.

  • Familiarity with tools for evaluation and effectiveness monitoring and experience of assessing web and social media metrics and preparing reports.

  • Proficient in use of technology, databases, and office software, i.e., Microsoft Office especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Google, and data management systems.

  • Must have rights to work in the UK and live within commutable distance of the Oxford campus in Littlemore.

Desirable:

  • Experience in marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and Salesforce.

  • Professional qualification in marketing or a related discipline.

  • A full driving licence.
