One of our clients are looking for a Client Account Executive to join their team due to growth.
Role overview
The Client Account Executive will be responsible for working alongside the Senior Client Account Manager developing and delivering the account plan and defining the strategy for retention and growth across their portfolio of client/clients. The Client Account Executive will develop robust relationships across their client base to develop and increase the number of categories that are managed on their client’s behalf. In addition to managing their client base, the Client Account Executive will work as part of a wider team to support the overall companies strategy for growth; Taking ownership of an individual pipeline of opportunity, identifying new business and organic growth opportunities. The Client Account Executive will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the client strategy to ensure client satisfaction and ultimate retention.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities Strategy, Planning & Communication
Be the main day to day point of contact for a single or portfolio of accounts, developing and building relationships within each account with the main objective to retain and extend each contract and identify opportunities for organic growth
Jointly Accountable for P&L performance of accounts, client volume spend, revenue and profitability
Support the development and delivery of robust account plans to deliver account strategies that grow our client volume and fee revenue through the development and execution of category supply chain solutions across Food, Non-Food, Retail & Distribution.
Manage channel pipeline to ensure continual growth and deploy value-added activity across client base to ensure client satisfaction and work in conjunction with client base to deliver client’s objectives
Build strong and productive relationships across all clients over and above the main point of contact, ensuring relationship mapping across all levels of client’s business.
Account planning and strategic growth inline with Client and the companies requirements
Support any new business presentations, in conjunction with the companies Business Development team to support the companies growth
Represent the company at channel specific Expo’s and industry events to develop the companies brand proposition and awareness
Day to day engagement with the client supporting ongoing queries, escalations, supplier engagement and key strategic projects delivery
Regular presentations in forms of account reviews, quarterly business reviews, commercial projects and innovation
