One of our clients are looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team due to growth.
The role
We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our clients expanding team. They're a Purchasing company within the Food and Beverage industry, specialising in the hospitality sector.
You will be working alongside the Procurement Director to deliver against a broad range of spend within the hospitality sector and engage with both our suppliers and customers.
Role responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating pricing / tender administration 
- Analysing data and presenting findings 
- Identify and prospect new leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and digital outreach. 
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions. 
- Support negotiations and deal closures to meet and exceed sales targets. 
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to onboard new customers effectively and successfully ensuring a seamless transition to ordering from their nominated suppliers. 
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth. 
- Ensuring all procurement activities and process are efficient and effective to deliver an optimum level of service 
- Customer liaison and guidance 
- Team leadership as the company grows and the team expands 
The Person:
- Would suit someone with good experience in analytical and procurement roles (min 5 years) - preferably in Hospitality sector 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Previous customer / supplier liaison experience preferred. 
- Very organised and methodological with a keen eye for detail. 
- Pro-active and critical problem solver with high attention to detail 
- Previous experience in B2B field sales, ideally within Group Purchasing Organisation, foodservice distribution (food or non-food), or hospitality services. 
- Excellent knowledge of the UK hospitality market with the ability to utilise personal connections. 
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 
- Proactive and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude 
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities. 
- Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
