One of our clients are looking for a Major & Trust Manager to join their team due to growth.
About the Candidate
The role of Major Donors and Trusts Manager is a new position in the Charity and as such offer open ended opportunities to the right candidate. The successful candidate will;
• Build the department form the ground up
• Demonstratable track record of securing five or six figure funding from Major Donors, Trusts and statutory sources to achieve challenging targets
• Deliver steady growth of income
• Build a clear and reliable income pipeline.
• Meticulous attention to detail
You’ll be joining a team of 9 including healthcare professional nurses, a counsellor, Marketing Manager, and a community collections officer. The team is going through an exciting period of growth.
What you will be doing
• Building a portfolio of trusts and statutory donors (size of £10,000 up to £100,000) who give both unrestricted and restricted gifts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and write unrestricted funding proposals and budgets
• Provide excellent stewardship to donors, producing high quality written communications and reports to sustain and uplift relationships
• Build strong business relationships with donors
• Research trust and statutory funders to identify new donors Kidney Cancer UK can work with
• Maintain an up-to-date donor database for your portfolio of donors
• Keep a clear record income
• Work to Kidney Cancer UK’s ethos and ethics
• Working to targets
Benefits:
• Remuneration of Between £35,000 (£43,750 pro rata) £40,000 (£50,000 pro rata) per annum
• 25 days of per annum, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 27 days
• Employer pension contributions of 3%
